Black Cloth Covered Wire Overview
Our DIY fabric wire black cord sets the standard for versatility. It can be used in a wide range of lighting projects and looks great with a variety of finishes, light fixtures, and bulbs. For your convenience, you can order this cloth covered black wire by the foot for as much or as little as you need.
What’s in This Black Cord?
The construction of our SVT B wire features 3 conductor wires (positive, negative, and ground) insulated by a PVC housing and finished with a high-quality braided rayon cloth cover. We also offer a 2 conductor version in this color (positive, negative). This wire is fully UL Listed, which is demonstrative of our commitment to providing safe, high-quality products. The rated voltage for this wire is 300V.
How to Use This Cloth Covered Black Wire in Your Next Project
Regardless of the size and scale of your project, we recommend ordering one to two feet more than you require, just to compensate for the length cuts and wire stripping you might have to do. The maximum weight rating depends on the final application and assembly.
