Cord Stay Overview

The Cord Stay manages the path of your color cord along a wall or ceiling — thread the cord through and screw on the cover to keep it from moving at all. We often use it for wall sconces to secure the cord along the wall, or as a minimalist hook for low-weight ceiling fixtures.

Please note: The Cord Stay is designed for Color Cord Company cord (¼" diameter) — it may work with similar third-party cord, but we can't guarantee fit outside our own line. When used as a hook to bear weight, it's rated for 3 lbs and only when installed into a stud. If you're not installing into a stud, or not bearing any weight beyond guiding the cord, use the included drywall anchor instead. Also note: Polished Copper is discontinued on this product and will not be restocked.

Raw Metal and Raw Brass finishes are untreated and may rust or have imperfections over time — ideal for an industrial look or DIY painting, but not recommended if you prefer a consistently polished finish.
