A one-piece metal stem with cable grip and strain relief, featuring male threading on one end and female threading on the other. A common use is combining it with tubing to create an extended stem while still having a set screw to secure a cord. Compatible with all our sockets and 18g DIY cloth-covered wire sold by the foot. Available in 5 finishes.
Raw Metal finish oxidizes and will rust over time — a good fit for industrial and upcycled builds, or sand and paint it if you'd rather. As always, consult an electrician if you have questions about your specific project.

I could not readily find these pieces elsewhere, but easily found them here. I think that they offer them with or without nuts and lock washers, but I think those should be included as a matter of course. I saved a small amount, however, because I had the nuts and washers and so only needed the grip itself. So, I suppose that's the reason for offering each option? In any case, they're a quality product at an affordable price, and I'm not sure what more anyone could really ask for.
