SJT-5 18g Fabric Wire

Our SJT-5 Conductor 18g Fabric Wire by the Foot is a specialty wire that has limited applications for specialized uses. For your convenience, we sell it by the foot, so you can order as much or as little as you need.  

This 18 gauge color cord is SJT, has 5 conductor wires, and is rated for up to 300V. Each features white, black, green, gray and violet color conductor wires surrounded by a thermoplastic insulated cover and is finished with a braided rayon cloth. We recommend ordering 1-2 feet more than you need to compensate for length cuts and wire stripping. 

It is important to note that this product is not designed for compatibility with our sockets, canopies or other lighting accessories. If you are looking to build a light fixture please shop our selection of 18g. SVT wire. With all lighting projects and DIY fixture assembly, we always recommend consulting a licensed electrician.

For traceability reasons on UL Listed products, we cannot accept returns for cut-to-order wire. As there can be various monitor settings and calibrations, colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen, so we recommend that you order a sample or one foot of wire to see the color in person. It is important to confirm that the specifications and color of this wire are suitable for your project prior to ordering.
