Ready to DIY your own plug-in sconce? This sleek and simple canopy works on a ceiling as a canopy or on a wall as the base for a sconce. This is just the cover for your fixture — you'll need to purchase and assemble the other components separately. The side punch connects a Custom Whip through the side port for plug-in fixtures; we recommend adding an Eyelet and Knurled Nut to protect the cord. Available in 5 finishes.
We recommend also picking up a Canopy Grip for pendants or a Canopy Conversion Kit for tubing to complete your fixture. As always, consult a licensed electrician if you need assistance wiring any device.

Good quality, but website shows canopy used to make a wall light (with lamp wire out the side hole). I do not know how to attach it to the wall. The mounting kit appears to be for something else.
CCColor Cord Company5 years agoHi Mike! Any of our canopies can be mounted to the wall using the backplate and screws. If you are going directly into a stud you will not need anchors, but if you are going into drywall we would recommend using drywall anchors that can be purchased from a local hardware store.
