Paper Lantern FAQs

Do you have other sizes of paper lantern shades?

Yes! You can find these round lamp shades available in three sizes, including 12-inch, 16-inch, and 20-inch. Choose the ideal size for your space and placement to ensure you fill the space with a conversation piece but don’t overwhelm the other interior design elements.

We currently only offer the paper lamp shade design in white.

Are paper shades a fire hazard?

At Color Cord Company, we ensure the safety of all our products with rigorous testing and inspections. Furthermore, modern LED bulbs don’t produce the heat of older light bulbs, so they won’t affect the materials of the lamp shade.

Follow installation instructions and light bulb pairings for best results. With this lamp shade, we recommend you use G25 light bulbs or smaller.

How do you prevent yellowing as the paper ages?

While paper does tend to yellow with age, you can delay this progression by keeping it out of direct sunlight. We also recommend that you avoid installing the paper lantern ceiling light covers in high-moisture areas, like bathrooms.

    Inexpensive and exactly what I wanted

    Hung up this lantern with a cord over the couch because we only have a single ceiling fixture. It plugs into a regular wall plug and looks fantastic, plus now I have actual light!
