E12 Shade Ready Socket Overview
The E12 Shade Ready Socket in ivory is an off-white thermoplastic candelabra socket with threads and a removable shade ring, designed to hold candelabra-specific shades. Perfect for chandeliers or decorative fixtures with an E12 bulb base and a shade.
What's the difference between E12 and E26?
E12 is the smaller "candelabra" base, typically used for chandeliers and decorative fixtures. E26 is the standard medium base used in most lamps and pendants. The two aren't interchangeable.
How do I wire this socket?
Check out our E12 socket assembly guide for a full walkthrough of wiring and assembling E12 sockets safely.
Pick up cloth-covered wire by the foot and a cord grip to keep it securely attached to your cord — sold separately. As with any lighting project, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician if you have questions about your specific setup.
