The E12 Basic Socket in ivory is a clean and simple candelabra e12 style socket made from off-white thermoplastic. This socket is intended for candelabra bulbs and is not compatible with standard e26 base bulbs, so be sure to confirm the size of the socket and bulb that you need for your project before ordering. But, if you are working with a chandelier or decorative fixture with an e12 bulb base, then this is the socket for you! Add some class to your lighting design by adding on one of our candelabra-sized socket covers for a finished look.
The top threading is 1/8 IPS and ready to work with any cord grip style best suited for your project. Strain relief/cord grip is sold separately. Also, please note that these sockets are self-locking. Do not assemble the sockets with the terminal inside before it is wired. The terminal will lock the socket permanently.

- Lisa L.Verified BuyerRated 5 stars1 year agoOutstanding customer service!
I purchased the E12 ivory socket because I needed a very narrow socket for the pendant light I was making from an old vase. Not only was it easy to wire but it fit perfectly as well. The expert advice I got from the live chat service ensured that I had all the correct parts I needed to construct my light fixture and that I had the confidence to complete my light. Additionally, I was assured that I could call back anytime to get more advice should I need it. I was very impressed with the professionalism. I would definitely recommend the Color Cord Company for their products and expert service. Was this helpful?CCColor Cord Company1 year agoThank you so very much for your kind words. - Lorna M.Verified BuyerRated 3 stars2 years agoGround screw does not have
Ground screw does not have sleeve so difficult to catch wire. Was this helpful?CCColor Cord Company2 years agoHi Lorna, The E12 sockets are 2 conductor sockets and do not have a ground terminal so you will just clip the green ground wire and omit it from use. The screw you may be referring to is used to lock threading and will not be used when wiring the socket. Let us know if you have any questions! Best, Mika
