Overview
Black SPT-1 is a clean, flat black — a discreet, versatile choice for restoration work and vintage lamp assembly. Order as much or as little of our cloth-covered cord as your project needs.
Construction & Details
This SPT-1 flat parallel cord features two parallel conductors on UL-grade wire in a double-insulated PVC jacket, finished with a color rayon cloth cover. The finished cloth-covered cord is not UL Listed with this cloth covering, unlike our other products, but is well suited to lamps and small appliances — ideal for restoration work or updating a vintage-style fixture with modern components. If you need help determining if this cord is right for your application, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician.
We recommend ordering 1–2 feet more than you think you need to allow for length cuts and wire stripping. Maximum weight rating depends on your final application and assembly.
