DIY Fabric Wire by the Foot - Rust (Cotton Blend)

Our Rust premium cotton blend cloth covered electrical wire has a great texture, flexibility, and feel that will be perfect for your next lighting project. Color Cord Company's exclusive cotton blend covering provides a natural matte finish with a softer touch, but is more durable than traditional 100% cotton covering. For your convenience, we sell it by the foot so you can order as much or as little as you need.

The construction of our SVT-B wire features 3 conductor wires (positive, negative and ground) insulated by a PVC housing and finished with a high-quality braided rayon cloth cover. This wire is fully UL Listed, which is demonstrative of our commitment to providing safe, high-quality products. The rated voltage for this wire is 300V. 

If you need a 2-conductor cord, you can simply clip the third wire (green) and leave it unused. We recommend ordering 1-2 feet more than you need to compensate for length cuts and wire stripping. Max weight rating is dependent on the final application and assembly. With all lighting projects and DIY fixture assembly, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician.

Please note: For traceability reasons for our UL Listed product, we cannot accept returns for cut-to-order wire. It is imperative that you confirm the specifications and color of this wire are suitable for your project prior to ordering. Due to various monitor settings and calibrations, colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. You can order a sample to see the color in person.
