Wire Makeup & Specifications
Our Port fabric-covered SVT-B wire has positive, negative, and ground wires in addition to PVC housing. The fabric finish is a quality rayon cloth that’s braided to cover the UL Listed wire. This product is rated for 300V and we recommend you consult a professional electrician before use to ensure your safety and better performance from our products.
How to Use
Our DIY fabric-covered wire by the foot is incredibly versatile. When you need just a two-conductor cord, you can always clip the green wire to leave it unused. You can also order the exact measurements you need for your project to ensure a cost-effective solution for your lighting — but make sure you order 1-2 feet more than is listed to compensate for cutting and stripping. Double-check your max weight rating during the final assembly because it is dependent on your specific design and configuration.
