The Cord Thumb Switch is an in-line toggle switch that's a great addition to table lamps, sconces, and pendants alike. Made of hard plastic, it connects directly to the cord for a clean, low-profile on/off control.

We ordered these switches since they have a flat entry point. It worked well with the Flax color wire. A little tight fit, but nice finish end.

These switches are really great and easy to add in later if desired. Perfectly non-bulky addition to your cord. You need pliers to close them. The thicker cotton blend cord has a harder time fitting in the openings, I wasn’t able to fully close them down, but close enough for now.

I have been replacing cord switches with these thumb switches for years & my customers love them! They are simple & easy to use. Also very easy to install. They are easy to add a small drop of solder which gives the a bit of fail safe quality.
