Product Information

Our Twist Socket in Black is made out of hard black plastic and is compatible with our cloth covered wire. This simple socket features a 2 conductor terminal and is compatible with our metal socket covers. This socket is compatible with our 3-conductor wire, if the green ground wire is clipped and left unused. If you plan using this socket with our DIY light cord, we recommend using a cord grip / strain relief for a secure attachment, sold separately.

These sockets are self-locking! Do not assemble the sockets with the terminal inside before it is wired. The terminal will lock the socket permanently.

Please do not exceed more than a 5 lb pull weight on this socket. If you would like to assemble a socket and cord for a lighting application, please consult a licensed electrician.
