It is important to note that this canopy is not ready for wiring or fixture building, as it requires other components and assembly. The canopy is blank and includes a center punch that can be paired with the 1/8 IPS all-thread, nut, and thread cover for pendants. Available in multiple finishes, this canopy matches our other DIY parts to create a matching assembly. Please note that raw brass is not treated and will patina and have imperfections without polish or lacquer. This canopy is not intended for tubing assemblies.

This canopy is not only an option for a less prominent look, but it can also be a DIY solution for an XL shade opening. You can use the fixed shade assembly where the Check Ring supports the shade. However, please remember to consult a licensed electrician if you need assistance with the design or wiring of any device. It's important to note that, when used as a canopy, it requires a cord knot inside for safe assembly to provide strain relief.
