This budget-friendly clear glass globe shade is available in three finishes: matte white, smoke, and clear.

Our 6-inch glass shades work best when paired with our Fixed Shade Cord Hardware Kit or Fixed Shade Tubing Hardware Kit. Please note that they’re not compatible with Shade-Ready, AiO, or Neckless light fixtures and will require DIY or professional assembly.

Are these glass shades safe for outdoor use?

No, our clear 6-inch glass globe shades are not rated for outdoor light fixtures. If you’d like to ensure that your exterior light fixtures match your interior aesthetic, we recommend exploring our collection of acrylic shades. This material looks exactly like glass but can better withstand the rigors of outdoor environments. Our acrylic shades are rated to maintain their integrity in rain, wind, and strong sun!

How do I determine the right size for my light shade?

Whether you prefer a smoky or clear glass globe shade, finding the right size is essential to creating a beautiful lightscape. To find the right size for your light fixtures, follow these guidelines:

  • The Right Height: Measure your light fixture from the base to the lamp socket. Your shade should be about 60-75% of the total size of the fixture.
  • The Right Width: You can choose a lampshade that’s the same diameter as the light fixture base or canopy. You can also opt for a shade that’s twice the diameter of the widest part of the lamp.
  • Hiding Hardware: The key to a beautiful light fixture is hiding any functional hardware. When placed at eye level, the shade should be large enough to obscure the lamp neck and socket from sight.

    replacement globes

    thank you so much you are literally the only place i was able to find replacement globes for my chandelier. The place I got the fixture from wanted to charge me $200 each and yours were $15!!!!
