I used it with the Edison bulb. The bulb doesn’t extend beyond the edge of the shade which I like.

We had a few small wall sconces that came with solid metal shades that focused the light too much. These frosted glass shades were the prefect replacement and cast a much warmer feeling glow. Perfect!

My order arrived with issues. The cord was creased and the shade was uneven. However, the staff worked with me to teach me to undo the creases and provided an extra component to fix the shade. The amount of effort required for the price is disappointing.
OTOH, the final product is beautiful and exactly as ordered.

Our color cords can have kinks from their shipping and storage but those will come out with the help of a low setting heat from a hairdryer. Your shade and socket combination did need an extra part to make it work together but I think that the final result looks great too. Thank you for your patience as we found a solution.
