Overview
Brass 16g SJT is a warm, golden metallic — a polished look in a heavy-duty extension cord. Please note this wire is not designed for use with our sockets, canopies, or other lighting accessories; for pendant and fixture wiring, see our 18g SVT wire collection instead. Order as much or as little as your project needs.
Construction & Details
Our SJT-B wire is built from three conductor wires (positive, negative, and ground) in a thermoplastic insulated PVC jacket, finished with a high-quality braided rayon cloth cover. It is fully UL Listed, reflecting our commitment to safe, high-quality products, and is rated to 300V. We recommend ordering 1–2 feet more than you think you need to allow for length cuts and wire stripping. Maximum weight rating depends on your final application and assembly. As with all wiring projects, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician.
