Our frost white Twist Socket with Ring is a clean, simple solution for DIY light fixtures with a UNO shade opening (1.5"). It's a 2-conductor socket that also works with 3-conductor cord — just clip the green ground wire and leave it unused. The removable ring holds shades or pendants with wire and ring interior diffuser forms.

Frost White won't be plain white — expect a subtle frosty pink hue to the tone.

What's a UNO fitter?
UNO is a 1.5" shade opening — smaller than the 1⅝" Euro fitter used on our other shade-ready sockets. Not sure which one your shade uses? Check out our Shade Compatibility video.

Can I use a 3-wire cord with this socket?
Yes — this is a 2-conductor socket. If your cord only comes with 3 wires, simply clip the green ground wire and leave it unused during assembly.

Pick a UNO-fitter shade to complete the look, then pick up cloth-covered wire by the foot and a cord grip to keep it securely attached to your cord — sold separately. As with any lighting project, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician if you have questions about your specific setup.
