Rounded Metal Socket Cover Overview
Rounded Metal Socket Covers are a simple way to add a clean, smooth finish to your lighting project. This cover fits over both our Basic and Porcelain sockets, and pairs with our cloth-covered wire for a colorful build or a monochromatic one — whichever fits your design.
Raw Metal and Raw Brass finishes are intentionally untreated for a natural, industrial look — expect them to oxidize and tarnish over time. Want a different look? Buff, polish, sand, or paint to your liking.
Pair with our Basic Socket or a Porcelain Socket, then pick up cloth-covered wire by the foot and a cord grip to keep it securely attached to your cord — sold separately. As with any lighting project, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician if you have questions about your specific setup.

The metal socket covers are my go to when I want something that will reflect light and look a little more invisible behind a translucent glass. The brushed silver seems to do this well .
