Create your own ceiling fixture or convert a plug-in pendant into a hardwired stunner with our sleek, low-profile ceiling canopy. This versatile component covers the electrical box, protects the wiring connection, and adds a decorative touch — a great option for a hanging pendant with our color cord or a similar 1/4" diameter cord. Available in 5 finishes.
- Punched check ring plate
- Basic mounting strap
- J-box screws
- 1/8 IPS all-thread, nut, and thread cover
Wire connectors not included — please review installation instructions for knot specifications to add strain relief. Not intended for tubing assemblies. Raw brass is untreated and will develop patina and imperfections without polish or lacquer, or oxidize and tarnish for a more industrial look if left alone; you can also buff and polish it, or sand and paint it, for a custom finish. As always, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician for any DIY fixture assembly.

We installed a fancy new pendant lamp over our dining table and the included ceiling cap was slightly too small for the opening in our ceiling. A goof ring would have gotten the job done, but this low profile raw brass ceiling cap from color cord was a pure upgrade compared to tracking down a goof ring to pair with the stock ceiling cap. Love the look, would recommend, wouldn't hesitate to buy another if the need arises.

Never thought I’d say this but I’ve bought several pendant canopies in my time. All of them have been “normal” until this one. I have half a mind to replace all of my other clunky bulky boring canopies with this one. It looks downright luxurious. Install of it is arguably even easier than the normal one, which was my only concern going in. Run, don’t walk.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review and for highlighting how luxurious yet simple it is to install. Your experience with different canopies makes your feedback especially meaningful!
