Our porcelain socket is also easily paired with our cloth covered wire sold by the foot. However, if you plan on making a DIY light cord with this socket, we highly recommend using a cord grip/strain relief for a secure attachment. Cord grips are sold separately. With all lighting projects and DIY fixture assembly, we always recommend consulting a licensed electrician.
Please note, the white cord grips do not match the off-white porcelain, we recommend using the clear cord grips, which seem to match the best with this socket or contrast with a black strain relief.
