E12 Basic Socket Overview
The E12 Basic Socket in black is a clean, simple candelabra-style socket made from black thermoplastic — perfect for chandeliers or decorative fixtures that call for an E12 bulb base. Top threading is 1/8 IPS, ready to work with whichever cord grip style suits your project.
What's the difference between E12 and E26?
E12 is the smaller "candelabra" base, typically used for chandeliers and decorative fixtures. E26 is the standard medium base used in most lamps and pendants. The two aren't interchangeable.

Add a Candelabra E12 Socket Cover for a finished look, then pick up cloth-covered wire by the foot and a cord grip to keep it securely attached to your cord — sold separately. The parts did not not fit together very easily making it hard to assemble and even harder to take back apart.
