At six inches long, this exclusive Color Cord Company cord grip brings a unique touch to your fixture — a one-piece polished metal stem that offers strain relief for your cord. A great option for anyone wanting a more modern finish or experimenting with metal tubing in their design. Compatible with our sockets and 18g DIY cloth-covered wire. Available in 5 finishes.
Raw Metal finish oxidizes and will rust over time — a good fit for industrial and upcycled builds, or sand and paint it if you'd rather. As always, consult an electrician if you have questions about your specific project.

Worked well for my project. However, passing the fabric cord through was a bit tricky, the stem was too tight so I had to remove some of the fabric and hide the stripped part of the wire in the stem. But overall the end result looks great and more refined ! I'm glad I ordered it.
CCColor Cord Company5 years agoFor your next project try some masking tape wrapped tightly around the cord to help with passing through tight areas like cord grips, but really you did a fabulous job all on your own! Looks great.

I am SO happy with this light. It blew my expectations out of the water. Being able to design the light myself was great but, knowing my money was going to a small company was better. Didn’t even know until I opened the box thanking me for my purchase along with pictures of the staff and their dog(s). Great product and will be using Color Cord for any lighting needs. ☺️️
