Can I buy any socket cover for my fixture?

No. Light bulb socket covers are designed for specific bulb types, shade sizes, and fixtures. Each product page lists diameters, thread lengths, and bulb compatibility under Specifications. Always compare components to ensure compatibility, as using mismatched parts can be unsafe.

What’s the difference between a socket cover and a socket cap?

The terms are often used interchangeably, but a socket cover can also refer to plastic outlet covers used in wall outlets. Those outlet covers are designed to block unused outlets for safety or cleanliness and are different from decorative light socket covers.

Do you sell outlet covers?

No. We only sell components and accessories intended for light fixtures. Outlet covers are not part of our product catalog.

Can every light socket cover be used with shades and cages?

No. Socket covers, shades, and cages each have specific diameter and threading requirements. Even if a socket cover is labeled shade-ready, you must still confirm compatibility with the selected shade or cage by reviewing each product’s specifications.

What colors are your light bulb socket covers available in?

Basic plastic socket covers are available in black and white. Additional options include finishes such as polished copper, raw brass, antique brass, graphite, and nickel, as well as silicone, metal, and ceramic covers offered in a wide range of colors.

The E12 Shade Ready Socket in black is a black thermoplastic e12 socket with threads and a removable shade ring that is designed to hold candelabra-specific shades.

Strain relief/cord grip is sold separately. Also, please note that these sockets are self-locking. Do not assemble the sockets with the terminal inside before it is wired. The terminal will lock the socket permanently.

This socket is intended for candelabra bulbs and is not compatible with standard e26 base bulbs, so be sure to confirm the size of the socket and bulb that you need for your project before ordering. But, if you are working with a chandelier or decorative fixture with an e12 bulb base, then this is the socket for you!

Easy to assemble
I put together 18 of these easily. Only tool necessary is screwdriver for wiring. Using a legit wire stripper will save your hands some strain.

Exactly What I Needed

Very good and timely service but...
Very good and timely service, socket seems to of good quality however...
This socket have a self locking system, so after I installed it need to added a metal cover and could not open it again. Would know how to “unlock” it ? If I need to remove it, the only way is to break it ?
