Beau Wynja12 Projects of Christmas - Project #11 Gramp Lamp Revamp
Using our 2-conductor Twisted Pair wire and rubber plug end, we restored a vintage custom made lamp!
Color Cord Product You'll Need:
Step 1: Removing Old Wiring

First we opened up the original cluster body, separated and removed the old flat wire to be replaced with our Twisted Pair Cloth Covered Wire.
Step 2: Wiring the New Twisted Pair to the Lamp

Once we cut and stripped the end of our Twisted Pair Cloth Covered Wire, we fed it through the bottom of the lamp and then crimped the top to secure it to the base of the cluster body.
Step 3: Re-wiring the Cluster Body

We simply reconnected the original positive and negative conductor wires of the two sockets to the new Twisted Pair Cloth Covered Wire using wire nuts and electrical tape.
Step 4: Wiring the Rubber Plug End

In this step we removed the rubber housing of the rubber plug end and connected the two conductor wires to the plug terminals!
Step 5: Cleaning

A little spit shine never hurts! Except we used wood polish instead of saliva, cuz gross. We polished our vintage lamp and brought it back to life!
Step 6: Screwing in LED Bulbs and Enjoy!
