Offering the lowest profile of all our cord grips, the barrel cord grip is a one-piece plastic strain relief that grips the cord and connects it firmly with the socket — with 1/8 IPS threading and a small set screw to secure the cord. Compatible with all our sockets and 18g cloth-covered wire. The clear version also works well to help secure your plug end to the cord. Available in 3 finishes.

I like that the grub screw that holds the cord in place becomes totally flush with the outside housing when fully tightened down. I found having a wrench was useful for fully threading it into the socket or plug. I’ll definitely buy more of these.
