What kinds of fixtures can I customize?

You can customize any type of fixture we offer. Create your own version of our pendant lights, chandeliers, wall sconces, flush-mounted fixtures, and plug-ins. You can even customize the canopy for your fixture separately.

What are my customization options?

Our customizer allows you to choose nearly every element of your fixture. Follow the instructions as it takes you through the following options:

• Hardwired or Plug-In
• Plug Type (Number of Prongs)
• Thumb Switch, Color, & Location on Cord
• Cord Length & Color
• Socket Cover Color
• Bulb Type

Can I choose my cord length?

Yes, we offer a variety of cord lengths for custom light fixtures, from four feet long to 30 feet long. Our best value lengths for the cost include the nine-foot option, 15-foot option, and 30-foot option. 

We recommend ordering slightly more than you expect to use to ensure you have room for wire stripping and any errors. Also, please note cord lengths can be adjusted for hardwired fixtures upon installation.

What’s included?

Your cord selection and mounting hardware are all included in your custom order. Basic swag hooks are also included, though please note you’ll be able to upgrade them from our swag hook collection during your order process.

What’s not included?

Professional installation, shades, cages, and certain styles of swag hooks are almost never included with any of our fixtures. You must buy these items separately, though we make it easy for you to find the components you need during your shopping experience. 

We also suggest you ask a professional to advise you during the installation process or do it for you if you’re choosing to install a new hardwired custom light fixture.

How long will production take?

Our production lead times range between five and seven business days. Once your fixture is customized to your order specifications, we’ll ship it out to you. Different shipping speed options are available at checkout.

Can I return my custom product?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any customized product. Please confirm and re-confirm that you’re ordering the correct sizes and colors for every part of the fixture. If you’re unsure of the cord color, you can order a sample.
