Independence Day 2014

Independence Day 2014

multi-pendant fixture

Independence Day is upon us, and per usual it has us seeing in hues of red, white and blue. We here at Color Cord Company are celebrating the freedom to DIY this Independence Day, because we can.  We have taken our independence back from manufactured lighting for the masses, and are doing it ourselves, and loving every second of it. We have been able to create one-off unique fixtures that add loads of style to our spaces and pride in our hearts.

This Fourth of July we created a spectacular multi-pendant fixture in nearly every shade of red, white and blue we could get our hands on, and boy did it bring the drama. We used this fixture to highlight the beautiful crème colored Indochine Industrial Cabinet, Vintage Rug, and Maharani embroidered pillow compliments of World Effect. Our pendant fixture features a beautiful mixture of our standard black sockets, brass keyed sockets, porcelain sockets, and various socket covers and all of the different red, white and, blue shades of textile wrapped light cord we offer. We love the variety of lightbulbs this piece features, and think it would be great on any scale and any space. This stunning shot also features Color Cord Companies newest employee, Penelope. She has gained the title of part-time model, and full time tail-wagger, and is paid handsomely in milk bones and belly rubs. We had a wonderful time creating this gorgeous light piece in the name of independence, and hope that enjoy it as much as we do. As always share with us what you create using Color Cord Company products. Bonus points if your project is Red, White and Blue!*
