Customer Relations & Ecommerce Operations Specialist

Color Cord Company (www.colorcord.com) is looking to add another person to our dynamic and driven team. We're searching for the right candidate to fill our Customer Relations Specialist position with a fun, energetic personality that thrives in a small startup business environment. This position will focus on working directly with our customers and providing them with valuable information and product insights. Our customers range from architects and designers to home DIYers, so interest or experience in the design industry is a must. In our small business environment, we are looking for a person who is not only willing to fulfill their daily work responsibilities but also happily help wherever is needed in the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Daily interaction with our customers via email, phone, live chat, and Facebook Messenger
  • Field product inquiries to maximize customer experience
  • Manage orders: entry, exchanges, returns, and changes
  • Communicate and facilitate order processing with the warehouse team
  • Assist in order fulfillment during high volume days
  • Pitch-in wherever needed with the rest of the team and business

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Experience with customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Proficient with computers, common software, and web-based applications
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or blogging platforms is a plus
  • Interest in the design industry

COMPENSATION & HOURS:

  • $32,000 - $39,000 annual compensation depending on experience and qualifications
  • 8 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday (FULL-TIME POSITION)
