LED vs INCANDESCENT vs CFL
WATTS THE DIFFERENCE?
LED: Light-emitting-diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits visible light when an electric current passes through it. INCANDESCENT: an electric light with a wire filament heated to a high temperature, by passing an electric current through it, until it glows with visible light otherwise known as incandescence.
CFL: Compact fluorescent light bulb is a low pressure mercury-vapor gas-discharge lamp that uses fluorescence to produce visible light. An electric current in the gas excites mercury vapor which produces short-wave ultraviolet light that then causes a phosphor coating on the inside of the lamp to glow.
